Christopher Anthony Schaner, 17, of Hart, died unexpectedly Monday, October 22, 2018.  He was born August 28, 2001, in Muskegon.

Christopher was in his senior year at Hart High School, where he played baseball and football.  In his free time, he loved hunting and fishing.

Christopher is survived by: his mother and step-father, Jessica and Earl Steffes of Hart; his father, Marcus Schaner of Hart; his sisters, Haleigh Schaner, Phoebe Dykman and Tiffany Steffes; his brothers, William Steffes, Brandon Steffes and Taylor Cory; his maternal grandparents, Barb and Terry Locke of Hart; his paternal grandparents, Kim and Terry Sibley of Hart, and Rick and Paula Schaner of Hart; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Christopher's life will be held from 2-4 PM, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Hart, 3258 N. 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
