Christopher Clayton Vanblargan, 37, of New Era, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 22, 2018. Chris was born on November 26, 1980 to Clayton and Lynn Vanblargan.

In 2015 Chris married the former Sandra Malone. Together they were blessed with one child Jaxon that joined his step-brother Liam to make a family of four. Chris worked as a machinist at Chassix. He enjoyed glassblowing, making jewelry, soccer, skiing, hiking and traveling. First and foremost was always his family. He was a kind, loving, giving family oriented man. He will be deeply missed.

Chris is survived by his wife Sandra; children, Jaxon and Liam; parents, Lynn (Dave Farrin) Nichols and Clayton (Traci) Vanblargan; grandparents, Louisa Nichols and Darry Nichols; step-sisters, Jasmine and Kendra; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clayton Vanblargan Sr. and Betty Lawrence.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel 413 S. Mears Ave. with Rev. John Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the start of the service

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made Chris's family.
