Mrs. Cindy Lou Earle, age 65, of Mears, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. She was born May 12, 1951, in Grand Rapids to Robert and Cordelia (Glover) Watkins. She graduated from high school and attended college where she earned her registered nursing degree. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Mercy Health Partners –Heart Center from where she most recently retired in May of 2016. Cindy was very involved in her nursing career and very instrumental with cardiac profiles for athletes in Muskegon. She married David Earle on July 4, 1990 in Silver Lake, MI; they were married for twenty-six years. Cindy loved to ride her scooter, she also enjoyed the Silver Lake sand dunes, water activities, red hat society, flower gardening, and she truly loved her grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by her husband, David Earle; one daughter, Kelly Ashley of Hudsonville; one son, John (Katherine) Earle of CA; two grandchildren, Spencer and Lily Richardson; her siblings, Kitty (Bob) Smith of Wyoming, MI, Dennis (Jemmie) Watkins of IL, Claude (Cheryl) Watkins of Grand Rapids, Mina (Phillip) Nederveld of Hudsonville, Robert James (Debra) Watkins Jr. of FL; father-in-law, Eugene Earle of Chesaning, MI; mother-in-law, Dorothy (Verlyn) Kellogg of Owosso; two sisters-in-law, Kathy (Rod) Mehl of Midland, Elaine (Gary) Junke of Spring Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Shawn Ashley, Wesley Ashley; and sister, Dolly Watkins.

Memorial services for Mrs. Earle will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at 2:00 pm at King Funeral Home, 2370 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, MI 49420 with Pastor Ken Vanderlaan officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at King Funeral Home in Hart.
