Clara K. Bickel, age 84, of Hart, passed away December 6, 2010 at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility. She was born May 30, 1926 in Weare Township to Ernie and Grace (Boone) Powers. She married Ellis W. Bickel on May 3, 1946 in Hart. Clara worked as a nurses aid for many years at Oceana Hospital. She was a very special homemaker and cook.

Mrs. Bickel is survived by her husband, Ellis Bickel of Hart; two sons, Duane (Patricia) Bickel of Hart and Dale (Carol) Bickel, of Elkhart, Indiana; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Sharon) Powers of Pentwater; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Diane McGhan; one grandson, Bruce Bickel; one sister, Nellie Seeley; two brothers, Glen and Charlie Powers.

Services for Mrs. Bickel are Friday, December 10, at 2:00 P.M. at King Funeral Home in Hart with Pastor Glenn Bearss officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Elbridge Township Cemetery.
