Mr. Clayton H. Vriesman, age 84 of Upper Silver Lake, Mears passed away Thursday July 3, 2014. He was born on November 2, 1929 in Muskegon to John and Henrietta (Poel) Vriesman. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Mears. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joann (Hasper) Vriesman, sons Mark (Robin) Vriesman, Greg (Susan) Vriesman and Dann Vriesman; grandchildren Nathan (Heidi) Vriesman, Rev. Aaron (Deirdre) Vriesman, Sara (Dan) McGhan, David (Deedre) Vriesman, Michael (Anne) Vriesman; twelve great grandchildren; brother Wayne (Barbara) Vriesman, sister in law Kathryn Vriesman, brother in law Gary (Anita) Hasper. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Sherman Vriesman and infant granddaughter Anna Vriesman. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
