IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clinton "Clint"
George Kane
May 25, 1978 – May 31, 2023
Clint Kane (May 25, 1978 – May 31, 2023)
Clinton George Kane, 45, passed away on May 31, 2023. Clint grew up and started a beautiful family in Traverse City, Michigan. Clint enjoyed taking his daughters boating and swimming on East Bay, laughing often with his wife, and spending his free time passionately diving into new hobbies. He worked for Lipari Foods as a sales representative, cultivating relationships with customers who became dear friends.
Clint is survived by his beloved wife Sara (Niskanen - married August 20, 2010) and their three beautiful daughters who he loved more than anything – Celia (8), Dylan (6), and Sofie (2), parents Stephen and Anna (Buhro) Kane, and sister Emily (Pieter) Sheridan and niece Ellie, Parents-In-Law Lauri and Karol Niskanen, brother-in-law Matt (Beth) Niskanen and niece Madeline, nephew Matthew, and niece Olivia, sister-in-law Kathryn (Elvin) Beach and nieces Hannah, Lauren, and Payden. Clint leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who also miss him deeply.
Clint was a devoted family man, and he loved his girls with every bit of his heart. He had a special way of wrestling and playing with each of his daughters that only their daddy knew how. He knew how to make them giggle uncontrollably, encouraged them to run and climb and tumble and "go-go"! He cared for them when they didn't know they needed it, he protected them, and made sure to give them a life full of laughs and unconditional love.
The joy Clint's humor brought and the shared laughs between family and friends will always be remembered. Whether taking calls from customers on his journey to become "the best boloney salesmen in Traverse City" or laughing with his wife over silly things their daughters did that day, Clint found humor and laughter every day. There are countless memories and stories shared that all end in laughter because Clint was involved. His laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
Clint inspired everyone he met by actively living his beliefs and values to their full potential – Clint displayed heroics and strength in fatherhood to his daughters, dedicated partnership with his wife and family, mentorship with colleagues and customers, and faith through love. Clint was a pillar of protection and a cornerstone to his family and those who loved him.
