Mr. Collin William Hansen, age 31, of Hart, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012. He was born November 30, 1980, in Shelby, to Goeff and Tamara (Tubbs) Hansen. He was a graduate of Hart High School, Class of 1999 and attended trade school. Collin married Courtney (Jackson) on June 28, 2003, in Hart. He was employed as an ironworker for Local #340 in Battle Creek and also as a driver for Excel Propane. Collin was a member of Ironworkers Local # 340, Battle Creek, Cheap Thrills Off-Road Club, Great Lakes 4 x 4 Club, Whitetails Unlimited and the Wild Turkey Federation. A one-of-a-kind father, husband, friend, and man has left us.
Collin is survived by his wife, Courtney Hansen; one son, Cole Hansen, at home; his parents, Senator Goeff and Tamara Hansen; one brother, Blake (Falon) Hansen, of Hart; mother-in-law, Kristie (Chris) Keltie of Spring Lake; father-in-law, Micheal Jackson of Alberta, Canada; grandparents, Fred (Dianna) Tubbs and Don (Bev) Hansen, all of Hart; grandparents-in-law, Ronald (Judy) Ray of Atlanta, Michigan and Alan (Diane) Jackson of Decatur, Michigan; niece and nephews, Brendan Reid and Peyton and Haegan Hansen; sister-in-law, Erin Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; brothers-in-law, Daniel Jackson of Grand Haven, and Blake Jackson of Spring Lake; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends.
The Celebration of Collin's Life will be held Friday, June 1, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hart, 3258 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, Michigan, with Pastor Lorraine Boucon and Mr. John Ensley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home, 2370 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, Michigan.
