Mrs. Conchita D. Rodriguez, age 75 of Hart, died Thursday November 20, 2008, following a very courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on August 17, 1933 in San Antonio, TX to Maurilio and Lita (Rodriguez) Davila. Conchita married Raul Rodriguez on June 30, 1948 in Hart and they shared fifty-six years together before Raul died in 2004. She was a homemaker and also worked at Gray and Company for 10 years. Conchita was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church. Her interests included her love of cooking, family gatherings, flower gardening and dearly loved having her grandchildren with her. She is survived by her children, Lilea Battice of Omaha, NE, Conchita "Mary" Flores of Muskegon, Eugene Rodriguez of Hart, Olga (Roy) Guardiola of Muskegon, Teresa (Mark) Compeau of Ludington, Debbie Agy of Scottville, Gloria (Shawn) Dean of Mears; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Bokamero Davila of hart; 3 sisters, Lucy Vasquez of Hart, Olivia Hernandez of Lansing, MI, Olga Herrera of Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband Raul in 2004, 3 sons, Raul Jr., Albert and Ernesto; 3 brothers, Oscar, Antonio and Maurilio "Willie" Davila. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Gregory Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Schneider, celebrant. Interment in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.. Memorial contributions may be given to the Johnson Cancer Treatment Center.
