Craig Casteel, 59, of Ludington, died Monday, December 10, 2018, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus, in Grand Rapids.  He was born November 22, 1959, in Owosso, Michigan.

Craig was currently working at Whitehall Industries, in Ludington, where he had been employed for 17 years.  In his spare time, Craig was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved mushroom hunting, being outdoors and spending time on the water.

Craig is survived by: his daughter, Carrie Casteel of Ludington; his son, William Jones of Ludington; his mother, Sharon (Robert) Tushek of Ludington; his father, James (Christine) Casteel of Ludington; his sister, Jill (Mike) Blanchett of Vicksburg; his niece, Reid Blanchett; his nephew, Deric Blanchett; and his best friend, Kim (Sue) VanGills of Ludington.

Craig was preceded in death by his brother, Carey James Casteel.

Craig enjoyed helping others and did so even at the end of life by being a Gift of Life donor.

A Celebration of Craig's Life will be held from 1-5 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2019, at the Ludington Boat Club.
