Mr. Dale Raymond Drum, age 75, of Walkerville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was born January 19, 1938, to Raymond and Beulah (Bond) Drum. He married Peggy Porter on November 15, 1967 in Hart; they were married 46 years. Mr. Drum was a self-employed farmer and was an herbalist, growing all types of herbs for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and was quite the conversationalist.

Dale is survived by his wife, Peggy Drum; two daughters, Tina Drum of Fremont, and Dana (Brett) Crowley of Montague; one son, Ray (Mariann) Drum of Walkerville; four grandchildren, Melanie, Taylor, Jenna, and Jake; and two brothers, Donald (Alta) Drum of Mears, and Doug (and his friend, Kathryn) Drum of Indian, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Drum will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Walkerville High School Cafeteria.
