Dale Eugene Paulsen, 84, of Hart, formerly of Hesperia, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2018, at his home. He was born May 23, 1934, in Muskegon, the son of Arthur and Geraldine (Chittenden) Paulsen.

Dale served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1955. He loved the outdoors, and was a logger until his retirement.

Dale is survived by: his children, Rhonda Lowe of Reno, Nevada, Chris Paulsen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shane Paulsen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shawn St. Germaine of Hart, Sam Aiken of Bitely, Kelly Aiken of Hart, Shannon Pierce (Ben Kelsey) of Hart, and Ty Paulsen of Hesperia; his brother, Jack (Linda) Paulsen of Muskegon; his sisters, Doris (Don) Plesscher of Muskegon and June Johnson of Musquite, Texas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by: his parents, Arthur and Geraldine Paulsen; his sister, Virginia Stidham; and his brother, Tom Paulsen.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
