Mr. Daniel T. Greiner, age 53, died Saturday, February 16, 2008. He was born in Hart on February 14, 1955 to Thomas and Marjorie (Hawley) Greiner. Dan was a graduate of Hart High School and a member of the Class of 1973. He was a farmer, operating the Dan Greiner Farms. His interests were hunting, fishing, traveling, farming, and spending time at Lake Michigan and with his friends. He will be missed by many. Dan is survived by two sons, Andrew and Michael Greiner, both of Ada, MI; parents, Tom and Marge Greiner of Hart; two sisters, Jane Greiner of Pentwater and Janet (Karl) Larson of Castleton, VT; nieces and nephews, Travis (Lori) Johnson of Crystal Valley, Tara Johnson of Steamboat Springs, CO and Cody Larson at Rhode Island University; great niece, Myca Johnson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leo and Carrie Greiner and Herbert and Lucille Hawley.He was also preceded in death by two cousins, Mike McClennen and Jake Besemer. A Memorial Service for Dan will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Crystal Valley Care Fund.
