Darrell Charles Denkhaus, 70, of Hart, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born February 12, 1952, the son of Norman and Helen (Mann) Denkhaus.

Darrell had many hobbies, including golfing, fishing, playing board games, playing pool, swimming, and building model cars. Starting in 1996, Darrell lived in Hawaii for 10 years, and his brother-in-law taught him techniques of shamanism, as well as how to make healing sticks for the Hawaiin Art Museum. Later when Darrell moved to Hart, he enjoyed golfing with his sister, Joan.

Darrell is survived by: his lifelong partner, Darlene Pickett; son, Kevin; brothers, Dennis (Sandy) Denkhaus and David (Diane) Denkhaus; sisters, Gloria (Serge) King, Joan (Dick) Williamson, and Barbara (Jeff) Clay; sister-in-law, Donna Haper; and many nieces and nephews.

Darrell was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Lorraine (Harry) Seger.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Darrell's house, 2330 West Tyler Road, Hart, Michigan 49420.
