David Louis Christian, 72, of Muskegon, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born April 30, 1950, in Muskegon, the son of Clifford and Flossie Christian.

David married Kelly Brandes on August 26, 2000, and they spent 22 wonderful years together.

He graduated from Muskegon High School and obtained an Associate's degree in accounting from Muskegon Community College. Throughout his life David worked various jobs. He worked at Standard Automotive, Dresser Industries, Kaydon, Herman Miller, Supreme Machine, Diesel Technology, and retired from L3.

David had a passion for golf and football; the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines were his favorite teams. He was an excellent craftsman, enjoyed woodworking, and had a love for computers.

He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, always throwing cookouts and family gatherings where he could show off his cooking skills.

David is survived by: his wife, Kelly Christian; children, Eric (Christina) Christian and Kathryn (Robert) Raugh; first wife, Martha Christian; stepchildren, Kyle McKenna, Kendra McKenna, Kayleigh McKenna, and Kaleb Rudicil; granddaughter, Lexi McKenna; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Michael and Timothy Huizenga.

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Daniel Huizenga.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM- 4:00PM, at the American Legion Algot Johnson Post #69, 803 E Colby St, Whitehall, MI 49461.
