Dr. David Duff of Buckley, MI, passed away the afternoon of February 21, 2025 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City, MI. He was born in Tawas City, MI to Juanita (Hunt) Duff and Vernon Duff, the third of five children and their first son.

David leaves behind two daughters born with Cheryl Fisk, (Franklin, Duff), Mindy Bollhoefer (Scott) of Spartanburg, SC, and Amanda Wilkerson (Allen) of Buckley, MI; and, two grandsons, Austin Duff and Bryant Wilkerson, both from Buckley, MI. David is survived by his father, Vernon Duff of Buckley, MI; two sisters, Kristal MacDough of San Manuel, AZ, and Sandra Schutte of Leesburg, FL; and brother Kenneth Duff (Vicki) of Mason, MI.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Duff and younger brother, Gary Duff Sr.

David attended Buckley High School and after graduating attended Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Boiling Springs, SC, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1999. After earning his degree he and his family moved back to Buckley.

Dr. David opened his Chiropractic business in Buckley named Country Chiropractic, and built a strong and familiar client base, most of whom became friends for life.  His dedication to helping people spilled over into other areas of his life. He was a Volunteer Fireman and EMS with the Buckley Fire Department and was always available to help friends and neighbors. With the on-call need for fire and EMS services family came to understand that any gathering could be interrupted, and family knew how dedicated he was and how much helping others meant to him. Both his fire gear and chiropractic table now stand watch in his home. He is a beloved and long-standing member of the Buckley community.

David enjoyed hunting, building radio controlled airplanes, tinkering with ham radios, helping cultivate and harvest his parent's garden, and working on car engines and equipment, and refurbishing old tractors with his dad.
