IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David Dillan
Jager
September 24, 1987 – March 11, 2022
David Dillan Jager, 34, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. He was born September 24, 1987, the youngest and only son of Karen Star (Kahl) Jager and David Wayne Jager. In his 34 years on Earth, David's "larger than life" personality attracted many people who came to know and love him, and become a part of his social circle and family. David left his imprint everywhere he went, and touched the hearts of everyone he met.
With his free spirit, David enjoyed the outdoors, especially bonfires, beaches, skateboarding, fishing, tubing, and spending time with family and friends. As a kid, David grew up going to pow-wows, where he had his first job making snow cones for his great-grandma Rose Shalifoe's food stand, and in the elements enjoying the outdoors with his mother and siblings. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. May his spirit live in all he found joy in.
David leaves behind: his grandfather, Thomas Marshall, 70, of Whitehall, Michigan; three sisters, Sharise (Nathalee Kahl) Sutton, 50, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Natalie Jager, 37, of Muskegon, Michigan, and Ursula Jager, 35, of Twin Lake, Michigan; nieces, Octavia White, Sydney White, and Neena Jager; nephews, Christopher Sutton II, Chevyo Schippers, Micheal Hayes, Demico Steward, and Alo Franklin; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; three aunts; three uncles; and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
David was preceded in death by: his mother, Karen Star (Kahl) Jager, March 9, 2012; his father, David Wayne Jager, March 24, 2020; his grandmother, Bernice (Shalifoe) Marshall; great- grandmother, Rose (Bailey) Shalifoe; and great-grandfather, Solomon Shalifoe.
