David Wayne Jager, 64, of Twin Lake, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020. He was born March 15, 1956.

David married Karen Kahl on February 22, 1984. Together they enjoyed 28 years of marriage until her death in 2012. David was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. He enjoyed being outside, sunsets, pow wows, rock music, hunting, and golfing. He was a funny, out-spoken man that loved and cherished his family. He will be deeply missed.

David is survived by: his children, Natalie Jager, Ursula Jager, and David Jager; grandchildren, Neena, Demico, Michael, Alo, and Chevyo; brothers, Ben Jager and John Jager; sisters, Mary Jager and Barbara Schotts; step-father, Tom Marshall; step-brother, Justin Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his wife; mother, Bernice; and grandmother, Rose (Solomon) Shalifoe.

A memorial service is being planned for the spring of 2020 and will be announced at a later date.
