Dawna Jean Wilson, 79, of Ludington, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. Dawna was born on April 20, 1939, the daughter of Howard and Margaret Wilson.

After graduating from Mt. Morris High School, Dawna served her country proudly in the US Air Force for 3 years. She enjoyed life and was a caring, giving, strong-willed woman. She will be deeply missed.

Dawna is survived by: her brothers, Gary (Carla) Wilson of Pentwater and Howard (Marcia) Wilson of Mt. Morris; sister, Sherron Desik of Pentwater; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friend and caregiver, Lisa Wolven of Ludington; and numerous close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Irene; and sister, Wendy Wilson.

Cremation will take place and services will take place at a later date.
