Debbie Kay King, 67, of Montague, peacefully transitioned Wednesday, October 30, 2024. She was born September 11, 1957, in Riverside, California, the daughter of Frank and Corrinne Abbot.

On August 27, 1976, Debbie married Grant King and they spent 48 wonderful years together. Together, they enjoyed traveling, trips to the casino, camping, and drinks with friends and family.

Debbie graduated from Cajon High Scholl in 1975.  After school, she was a military wife and homemaker stationed all over the United States and Italy. In the late 90's, her family settled in Montague and she worked at Sherman Walmart Super Center as a customer service manager for 16 years. Many co-workers and customers were great friends.

Debbie enjoyed and excelled at being a mother and nana. In her spare time, she enjoyed supporting the United States Military, traveling, the occasional 7&7, chatting and catching up with friends, scratch off tickets, trips to the beach, swimming, picnics, Michigan's beautiful fall season, and much more.

Debbie is survived by: her husband, Grant King II; children, Grant King III, Jeremy King (Tami), Patrick King (Wendy), and Roberta Schropp (Robert); grandchildren, Kelsi King, Caydence King, Jeremy King II, Abigail Lawson, Ryan King, and Roman King; great-grandchild, Oaklyn Brown; and siblings, Ann, Judy, Glenn, Dick, Scott, Margaret.

Debbie was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank and Corrinne Abbott and in-laws, Grant and Donna King.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 1, 2024, at the White Lake VFW Post 3256, 9370 Walsh Rd, Montague, MI 49437.
