Mrs. Debra May Hintz, age 51, of Hart, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. She was born October 16, 1964, in Pontiac to Stephen and Lorena (Batchelor) Odor. She graduated from high school and on November 6, 1982 married Dennis A. Hintz in Dryden, MI; they were married for thirty-three years. Debra was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her children, cooking, which she was known for having fabulous French onion soup, she also enjoyed spending time at the cabin at Mayville, MI. She was a member of the Elbridge Community Church, the Ladies Aid, and the church choir. Debra is survived by her husband, Pastor Dennis A. Hintz; two sons, Nathan (Amanda) Hintz of Hart, and Zachary (Whitney) Hintz of Hart; her mother, Joy Odor of LaPeer, MI; one brother, James Odor of Grand Blanc, MI; grandmother, Elenor Batchelor of Rochester Hills, MI; aunts, uncles; and her mother-in-law, Jean Hintz of Portage, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Odor, and her father-in-law, Albert Hintz. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Hintz will be Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 12:00 pm at the Elbridge Community Church in Hart with Pastor Daniel Hintz officiating. Interment will be in Elbridge Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 - 12 noon at Elbridge Community Church, 2370 North 136th Avenue, Hart, MI.
