Mrs. Delores Jean Dennert, age 83, of Hart, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016, at Spectrum Health-Ludington Hospital in Ludington. She was born May 27, 1932, in Detroit to John and Josephine (Malinowski) Zalewski. On February 27, 1949, Delores married Louis Dennert at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hart. She was a homemaker to her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and helping on the farm. Delores was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hart and the altar society.

Delores is survived by her son, Louis (Cheryl) Dennert of Hart; daughter, Laura (Hal) Maas of Clio, daughter-in-law, Renee Dennert of Hart; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Dennert; son, Timothy Dennert; daughter, Christine Dennert; three brothers, Walter, Edward and John Zalewski.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Dennert will be offered Friday, May 27, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hart with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2380 West Jackson Rd., Hart, MI. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the King Funeral Home to assistant the family with funeral expenses.
