Ms. Deloris 'Dee' Helen Hasty, age 72, of Hart, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born August 21, 1942, in Shelby to Charles and Mildred (Teichthesen) Reavey. She graduated from Shelby High School with the class of 1960 where she led the high school band as the majorette. Dee had been married to Charles Eisenlohr in 1963 and later in 1969 to Gary Hasty. She was employed at the Oceana County Treasurer's Office where she worked from 1978 - 2004. It was during the years of 1998 - 2004 she was elected to hold the position of the Oceana County Treasurer. Dee enjoyed yard work, walking, bowling, golfing, and car rides. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Dee is survived by her father, Charles Reavey; one daughter, Yvonne Greenwood of Grand Rapids; two sons, Craig (Sue) Eisenlohr of Scottville, and Shane (Vicki) Hasty of Hart; step-son Cary Hasty; step-daughter, Carmen Burgess; five grandchildren, Samantha Shermeta, Alissa Eisenlohr, Matthew Hasty, Morgan Simons, Corey Simons; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Redding, Thomas Reavey, Mary Keck, James Reavey, Margaret Law, Linda Irey, and Cinda Reavey. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Reavey in 2009, brother-in-law, Don Redding, Gary Hasty, and Robert Olendorf.
A Funeral Service of Resurrection for Ms. Hasty will be Friday, May 1, 2015, at 11:00 am at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Hart with Father Thomas Bolster officiating. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, from 5-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorials be directed to the Margaret D. Fuehring Alzheimer's Unit, E. Main St., Hart, MI 49420 or the Crystal Valley Care Fund, P.O.
