Mrs. Denise Jean "Moose" Trout, age 62, of Hart, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. She was born February 2, 1952, in Battle Creek to Fred and Donna Belle (Sanders) Gieske. She married John Trout on April 8, 2002, in Tennessee. Moose loved the Lord and her family; she enjoyed crafting, fishing, mushrooming, antiquing, gardening, and her dog. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hart.

Denise is survived by her husband, John Trout; two daughters, Tracy Loera and Samantha (Jaime) Gonzalez, both of Muskegon; two sons, David (Jacqueline) Perry of North Muskegon and Travis (Heather) Trout of Ludington; her mother Donna Belle Joyce Oomen of Crystal Valley; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Yulanda Stockwell of Hart, Joni (Joe) Rainier of Hickory, NC and Mary (Doug) Oomen of Walker, MI; three brothers, Joe Gieske of Crystal Valley, Fred Gieske of Nashville, TN, and Larry Gieske; two sisters-in-law, Judy (Bill) Chalmers of Whitehall and Helen Lazette of Luna Pier, MI. She was preceded in death by her father, her daughter, Gidget Perry, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, and her in-laws, Harry and Helen Moore.

The Memorial Service for Mrs. Trout will be Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 3:30 p.m. at Stickney's Back Forty, 3200 Sippy Road, Custer, MI 49405. Memorials may be given to the family for funeral expense.
