Dennis Carrier,75, of Muskegon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024, surrounded by family at his bedside. He was born August 20, 1949, in Muskegon, the son of Durward and Thelma (Sheehy) Carrier. He graduated from Reeth Puffer High School and lived his entire life in Muskegon.

Dennis enjoyed the outdoor life whether it was fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, or campfires. His life was shaped by his connection to nature and those closest to him. He took great pride in sharing his wisdom and knowledge of the woods to get others involved in outdoor activities.

He is survived by: his wife, Carrie Carrier;  MSgt., Thomas (Heather) Briskorn Jr.; his son, Dennis R (Julie) Carrier; his sister, Kay (Doug) Cowles; two grandchildren, Wesley Wade and Kaylie Briskorn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Durward and Thelma Carrier; his brother, Randall (Randy) Carrier; and his sister, Sharon Carrier.

Following his wishes, no service will be held. May he now rest peacefully among the outdoors he loved so much, reunited with his beloved companion Remington (Remmie) and his heavenly family once more.
