Dennis Allen Carter, 62, of Grand Haven, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born November 9, 1958, in Grand Haven, the son of James and Shirley (DuShane) Carter.

Dennis proudly served his country in the US Armed Forces. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle, and was a member of, and rode with, The Forgotten Eagles Chapter 5.

Dennis is survived by: his son, Dennis (Cheyanne) Slade; grandchildren, Austin Lemire, Alexis Slade, Alyssa Garvey, Alexis Martinez, Mitchell Slade, and Austin Martinez; and aunt, Wanda Vanraalte.

Dennis was preceded in death by: his parents; and sister, Judy Bellows.

In accordance with his wishes, Dennis will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
