March 23, 1939 – May 6, 2018
Dianna Louise Tubbs, 79, of Hart, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 23, 1939, in Hart, the daughter of Wendell and Mildred (Evans) Gamble.
Dianna was a fruit and vegetable farmer working alongside her husband for over 50 years. She loved being outdoors, nature and working the land. She also loved traveling including her trips to Alaska and Las Vegas. She truly enjoyed the time she was able to spend at her retirement home on the Pentwater River. Most of all, Dianna loved being with family, especially when she was preparing for the holiday meals and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dianna was a lifetime member of the Hart Congregational United Church of Christ where on August 10, 1957, she married her high school sweetheart, Frederick James Tubbs, who survives her. She is also survived by: her daughter, Tamara (Goeff) Hansen of Hart; her son, Timothy (Susie) Tubbs of Hart; 6 grandchildren, Blake (Falon) Hansen, David (Hannah) Tubbs, Jacob (Mary Carrier) Tubbs, Kristin (Neil) Sadler, Hunter Tubbs and Michael Tubbs; 5 great-grandchildren, Brendan Reid, Peyton Hansen, Cole Hansen, Haegan Hansen and Everett Tubbs; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Rocky, who was by her side until the end.
Dianna was preceded in death by: her grandson, Collin Hansen; her brother, David Gamble; and her sister, Deborah Bailly.
A celebration of Dianna's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Hart Congregational United Church of Christ, with Pastor Dan Barnum-Steggerda officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hart Congregational United Church of Christ or to the American Cancer Society.
