Dolores Lavonne Leona Pietrzak (Petzak) Larson, 89, of Ludington, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018, at Medilodge of Ludington.  She was born the eldest daughter of Leona Marie and Edmund Bernard Pietrzak (Petzak) on April 12, 1929 in Ludington.

On June 25, 1948, Dolores married Otto Fred Larson.  They made their home on Lewis Street in a large house they built together. Soon, the house was filled with the childhood laughter and shenanigans of Karen (Roger) Manley, Mary (John) Larson-Schneider, David (and special friend, Sandy) Larson, Jeffrey (Kathy) Larson and Vickie (Richard) Collins.

When they lived on Lewis Street, Dolores could be found digging and planting in the back yard or crocheting fabric rugs with her mother. She had her hands full raising five children while answering calls and scheduling work out of the home for Otto, helping to make Larson's Moving and Storage a success.

Dolores is in heaven with: her beloved parents; brothers, Theodore, Gordon and Richard (his wife, Edith); baby sisters, Barbara Darlene and Alice May; and sister-in-law, Carol.  She was also preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law on the Larson side. Dolores and her special granddaughter, Heather Marie, are together once again.

Dolores is survived by: her loving husband of 70 years, Otto; her children; her brother, Ronald Petzak; and two sisters, Rogene Marie (Gerald) O'Brien and Adeline Joyce (Duane) Bogus, whom she loved playing cards and board games with. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Sharon Petzak and Alice Petzak along with Otto's sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Stuart Martineau; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 25, 2018, at St. Simon Catholic Church, in Ludington with Father Wayne B. Wheeler presiding.  Interment will take place in the Pere Marquette Cemetery in Ludington. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at the church.

Memorial contributions in memory of Dolores may be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
