Don William Zwade, 73, of Hart, passed away unexpectedly, Friday October 27, 2017. Don was born August 15, 1944 in Martinez, California to Harold Zawadowski and Virginia Gogola.

Don grew up in the Chicago area. In the late 1970's he and his first wife Pamela relocated to the Hart area where they purchased an asparagus farm. After his marriage ended with Pam in 1987 he married the former Sandi Wells. Together they lived life to the fullest and enjoyed over 20 years of marriage together. Don enjoyed staying busy. He loved to fish, spend time in Florida where he loved the pool, work on the farm, a good meal and a little more work on the farm. He was strong-willed, and a people pleaser. Don was very likeable and would give you the shirt off his back if you asked him. He will be deeply missed.

Don is survived by his partner, Sandi; children, Don (Rhonda) Zwade, Tami (Kenny) Lee, and Rusell (Stephanie) Zwade; grandchildren, Braden (Kaitlyn), Karli, Mitchell (Taylor), Anna, Gabriel, Devon, Payton and Samantha; great-granddaughter, Avery; sister, Joyce Wilk; and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

A celebration of Don's life will take place on Tuesday October 31, 2017 from 4pm-8PM at Kristi's Pour House, 211 E Main St, Hart MI 49420. After the celebration Don's family will be scattering his remains in a place he loved, The Everglades.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Lions Club.
