Donald L. Burns, 82, of Ludington, died Thursday, August 14, 2025, at MediLodge of Ludington.  He was born February 26, 1943, in Coopersville, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Ferguson) Burns.

Don worked for many years as an electrician and was a member of IBEW Local 498.  In his spare time Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and NASCAR.

Don is survived by: his step-daughter, Lucinda (Scott Sanderson) Couturier; his step-son, Rodney Thompson; his children, Amanda and Scott; and several grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by: his wife, Denise Ruth Burns on July 29, 2025; and his parents.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
