Obituary
Mr. Donald W. Kunkle, age 70 of Hart, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids after a two year battle with Cancer.
Don was born on October 2, 1945 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Wendell and Fannie (Dugan) Kunkle. Don spent twenty-two years serving his country in the United States Army, retiring as a Lt. Col. He was also served fifteen years as a postal clerk in the Pentwater Post Office. He loved gardening, being particularly proud of his giant pumpkins. He also enjoyed traveling.
Donald is survived by his wife Marolee Kunkle of Hart; three children, Sheri (Patrick) Muzzy of Leavenworth, KS, David (April) Kunkle of Channahon, IL, Daniel (Lynnette) Kunkle of Minooka, IL; twelve grandchildren.
In accordance with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
