Mr. Donald James Love, Sr., age 57, of Walkerville, Michigan, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014. He was born September 4, 1956, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Glenn and Shirley (Miron) Love. A graduate of Reeths-Puffer with the Class of 1975, he served in the United States Army. Don married Theresa Strang on August 14, 1976, in Muskegon. He was employed in construction at Riegler Brothers. Donald loved hunting, fishing, camping, and travel, but his favorite thing was to spend time with family, especially his grandson, Jayden.

Donald is survived by his wife, Theresa Love of Walkerville; his grandson, Jayden Love of Walkerville; two sisters, Patty (Roger) Russell of Muskegon and Glenda (John) Howse of Manistique; three brothers, Gordon (Pam) Miron of Manistique, Joseph (Barb) Love of Shelby, and Glen Love of Manistique; his in-laws, Harold (Sandy) Strang of Big Rapids and Patricia Hinton of Ravenna; his brother-in-Law, Harold (Colleen) Strang, Jr. of Norton Shores, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Donald James Love, Jr.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Love will be Friday, August 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart with Pastor Roger Warmuskerken officiating. Interment will be in Mount Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be given to the family for funeral expense.
