Mr. Donald Thomas Porrett, age 59, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012. He was born February 14, 1953, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Donald and Florence (Budner) Porrett. He graduated from Edwin Denby High School in Detroit and attended MIT for a year. He worked in the agriculture industry until his health failed and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Donald is survived by two daughters, Amber (Jeremy) Fleck of Greenbank, WA and Jaclyn Porrett of Chicago, IL; one grandson, Elliot Fleck; his father and step-mother, Donald G. and Catherine Porrett of Vero Beach, FL; one brother, Jerry (Vitina) Porrett of Green Bay, WI, his companion and good friend, Carey Fatseas, and his former wife, Rhea Porrett of Pentwater. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
