Donald Marlen Redman, 67, of Kewadin, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home Friday, June 2, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Don was tall like a tower, his skin was thick lake a callus, his grease-stained hands from tinkering endlessly on projects in the garage and lastly that piercing scowl that could make anyone rethink what they were doing.  After all, if he was picking on you it probably meant he liked you.

Don spent much of his time cruising on his Side-by-Side, spending time at their cabin, working in the gravel pit, and getting into trouble with his best buddy, Gordie.  Don spent most mornings drinking coffee with his mother-in-law, Kay Powell.  He valued his relationships with friends, family, and most of all his wife and daughters.

Don is survived by: his wife Shari of 47 years; daughters, Tonya (Chuck) Redman, Tammie (Brian) Firestone & Tara (Joel) Hutchinson; grandkids, Dylan, Kylie (Kip) Gage, Kaleigh, Weston, Bryce, and Breah; great-grandkids, Mason & Maija; and siblings, Robin (Gibson) Thompson, Dennis (Kim) Redman, Calvin, Dale & Larry.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Junior & Marsha Redman; and siblings, Terry Shawn & Kenny, father-in-law Richard Powell, sister-in-law Sandy Nagy.

Let us raised our Busch cans and coffee mugs to a great man.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.

Memorials may be directed the Kewadin United Methodist Church.
