Mrs. Doneta I. Easton, age 90, of Hart, died Saturday June 28, 2008. She was born in Hart on January 28, 1918 to Morris and Eva (House) Rouse, Sr. On February 4, 1939 in Hart she married Russell Easton and he preceded her in death in 1980. Mrs. Easton was employed as a housekeeper at Lakeshore Hospital in Shelby until her retirement in 1979. She was formerly active with the Rebecca Lodge. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Anderson of Hart, Patricia (Ron) Pretty of Shelby and Sandra Dunlap of Shelby; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Kathleen Deal of Mishawaka, IN and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Russell, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Josh Stafford, granddaughter Rebecca McClellan, son in law Bruce Anderson, sister Burdetta Bullion and brother Morris Rouse Jr. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Easton will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Two o'clock from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Joseph M. Glover officiating. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
