Donna Kay Clearwater,age 79, of Hart, formerly of Coldwater, Michigan passed away on March 17, 2015 at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Lockwood Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the memorial service on Wednesday starting at 10:00 AM.
Donna was born November 28, 1935 to Clarence and Evelyn (Kesson) Batterson in Coldwater. She graduated from Coldwater High School and worked as a homemaker, for Allegan Co. DHS, and then as Office Manager for the Paw Paw State Police Post. She retired from the State Police in 1991. Donna loved her family, travel, antiques, plants and flowers, and Michigan's Great Lakes. She volunteered as a weekend lighthouse keeper for several years after her retirement.
Mrs. Clearwater is survived by her daughters Kristen Bradley of Portland, OR and Allison (Scott Esty) Bradley of Greenwich, NY; her grandson Garrett Vels of Portland, OR; her sister Virginia Noell of Punta Gorda, FL; her brother David Batterson of Coldwater; her grandchildren Isaac Esty and Odin Esty. She was preceded in death by her parents.
