Donna LeJune Houtkooper (Harrison), 93, of Kalamazoo, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. Donna was born on March 26, 1925 to Hopeful and Anna Howard.

Donna married Lowell Harrison in the mid 1940s and together they were blessed with 2 children and many years of marriage until his death in the mid 1980s. Donna worked as a cashier at a dime store for most of her working career. In 2001 she married Orrin Houtkooper. Sadly just 2 years later he passed away. Donna enjoyed knitting, playing organ, and being with her family. She was a sweet, caring, tender-hearted woman who will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by: her children, James (TalYe) Harrison and Phyllis Miller; grandchildren, Stephen Miller, Timothy Miller and Michael (Megan) Miller; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth.

Donna was preceded in death by her first husband Lowell; second husband Orrin; brother, Eugene; and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 9, 2018 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel, 413 s. Mears Ave. Whitehall, with Pastor Nathan Sabin officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the start of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to White Lake Baptist Church.
