Mrs. Donna M. Kingsley, loving mother and best friend, age 82 of Mears formerly of Adrian died Saturday August 23, 2008. She was born in Wauseon, Ohio to George and Emma (Baer) Guilford. Donna graduated from Adrian High School in the class of 1944. On December 27, 1950 she married William C. "Bill" Kingsley. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Rural Electric in Adrian, until her retirement in 1989. While residing in Adrian she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and after moving to Mears, she attended St. Vincent Catholic Church in Pentwater. She is survived by her children, Philip (Jacalyn) Kingsley of Adrian, Jeffrey (Debbie Stace) Kingsley of Adrian, Susan (John Madison) Kingsley of Adrian, Katherine (Lloyd) Wooster of Hudson, MI and Clarisssa (Daniel) Swihart of Hart; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Agnes) Guilford of Adrian; 2 sisters Phyllis (Hugh) Graham of MA and Wanda (Jack) Hartung of Clinton, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William "Bill" Kingsley on October 8, 1996.
The Memorial Mass for Donna will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend David Hudgins as celebrant. Interment of cremains will take place in Mears Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, where a Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
