Donna Jean Light 85, of Buckley, passed to be with the Lord on April 24, 2025.  She was born to Gerald and Angelina Gates on February 28, 1940.

Donna enjoyed making up funny phrases and making people laugh.  She loved dancing, picking morel mushrooms, playing dice and Skip-Bo. Her favorite time was spent praying to the Lord and spending time with her children and her grand children.

She is survived by her brothers: Joseph Gates (Karen), Medas "Peter" Gates and James Gates, Marvin "Marty" Gates (Nancy). Her sister Annabel Falk (passed April 27, 2025) (John), Her children: Robert Light (Tina), Donna Light (Aaron Martin), Edward Light (Antionette Sawyer), Sue Slade (Larry) and Mary Kurdziel (Victor).  Grandchildren: Shela, Dustin, Ryan, Ashley, Kallie, Eric, Raven, Heather, Bradley and Amanda. Great grandmother to many.

She was preceded by:  Her parents Gerald and Angelina Gates,  her husband Orlanzo "Wayne" Light, her brothers, Henry "Hank" Gates (Myrna) and Gerald "Hooner" Gates.

We are comforted knowing that she is with Wayne dancing in heaven.  She will be truly missed and loved by all that knew her.
