Mrs. Donna Jean Lundberg, age 91, of Pentwater, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, at Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart.  She was born October 15, 1925, in Sparta to George and Vera (McMillan) Vance.  She graduated from County Normal and was a school teacher. She married Donald Lundberg on June 25, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2013. Donna was a very caring and giving person.  Being a wife and mother, she held her family always close to her. She was very involved with mentally challenged persons and had been president of the Association of Retarded Children. Donna was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, where she had taught Sunday school for many years. She also worked tirelessly with her husband Donald on the family dairy farm.

Donna is survived by six sons: Dennis (Dolly) Lundberg of Kiln, MS, Donald (Paula) Lundberg of Pentwater, MI, Dean (Debbie) Lundberg of Tyler, TX, Dick (Cheryl) Lundberg of Ludington, MI, David Lundberg and Danny Lundberg, both of Pentwater, MI; Twenty nine grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren; one sister: Marilyn Stegenga of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters in law, Doris Lundberg of Pentwater, MI and Beverly Saxton of Ludington, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald Lundberg, Granddaughter, Tami Lundberg, and Great Granddaughter, Bree Lundberg, her brother, Bruce Vance, and her sister, Janet Nelson.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Lundberg will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 11:30 am from St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ludington with Pastor Jon Pohl officiating. Interment will be in Center Riverton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3212 West Kinney Road, Ludington, MI.  The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
