Donna Mae Snow, 95, formerly of Montague, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, May 13, 2019. She was born January 25, 1924, in Chicago, daughter of Fred and Edith Leuwer.

Donna married Jack (Bud) Snow on March 27, 1943, and they were loving parents of twin sons and a daughter.

Donna retired from the City of Montague where she worked as Deputy Clerk of the Water Department. She was a founding member of St. Peter's By-The-Lake Episcopal Church, where she was very active with the Altar Guild, Vestry, and E.C.W. over the years. Donna enjoyed reading and sewing, but the greatest joy in her life was always her family. She was an active, loving, positive woman, who always saw the best in those around her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by: her son, Ronald (Lori Lux) Snow; daughter, Jacalyn (Grant Hendrixon) Current; grandchildren, Ryan (Kris) Snow, Kelly (Justin) Ockerman, Jason (Sue) Snow, Jennifer (Anthony) Bird, Stacie (Chip) Bowden; ten wonderful great-grandchildren; special friends, Rebecca Steinbrook, Brian and Scott Hendrixon; and her grand dog, Missy Coco.

Donna was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Jack; son, Richard Snow; three sisters; and a very special friend, Martin Strahl.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2019, at St. Peter's By-The-Lake Episcopal Church, 8435 Old Channel Trail, Montague, with Father Everett Kline officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's By-The-Lake Episcopal Church or to a hospice of your choice.
