Doris I. Turner, born Doris Irene Ruwersma on March 15, 1930, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 30, 2026. Joining her husband of 32 years, Harold W. Turner, son Douglas A. Turner and son-in-law Charles E. Kellogg. Leaving behind to join her later are her son, Steven J (Linda) Turner, daughter-in-law, Jill Turner, daughter, Kathrine L. (Danny) Alvesteffer, and daughter, Susan L. Kellogg. Along with 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Doris’ entire life was centered around her family. She loved to take care of everyone, family members and friends. She loved music and dancing with Harold and anyone else that would join her on the dance floor. She also loved to travel and see the world, camping, water sports, ice cream and COFFEE.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Grace Bible Church, 200 Mill St., Newaygo, MI, 49337.
