Dorothy Bernath, 90, of Whitehall passed away January 25 at White Lake Assisted Living. She was born February 15, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to Bernard and Antoinette Tepatti.
Dorothy was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She loved to dance, write, sing, and be with her family and friends. She lived a full life, laughed often, and loved much.
Dorothy is survived by her son Greg (Jennifer) Bernath, two daughters, Pat (Randy) Burean, Jan (Steve) Pierce, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son David, her husband Roy Bernath, her brother Bud, and her parents.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Monday, January 30, 2017, at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica Catholic Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Burial will take place in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Dorothy may be made to Harbor Hospice of Muskegon.
Dorothy's family would like to thank the staff at White Lake Assisted Living for all the loving care they provided Dorothy during her final years as well as Harbor Hospice.
