Dorothy L. Hiddema passed away peacefully May 21, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center in Whitehall, MI. Dorothy was born in Allenhurst, GA on November 7, 1923 to Wallace Miller Harrelson and Bertha Mae Woodrow. She married her late husband, John L. (Bill) Hiddema on February 11, 1942. They settled in the White Lake area in 1955. Dorothy retired from Misco/Howmet/Alcoa in Whitehall in1984. She was the mother to three sons: Alan (Viola Sotomayor) Ludington, MI, Charles {deceased}(Susan) Muskegon, MI, and James (Marnitta) The Villages, FL, grandmother to five and great-grandmother to three. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Thursday, May 26 2016 from 2 PM To 5 PM at Villa Venafro Restaurant, 9521 Old 31, Montague, MI 49437.
