Dorothy Odell Hudson,  70 of Kingsley, passed away Wednesday, June 9 ^, 2021.  Dorothy was born on July 23, 1950, in Marietta, Georgia, the daughter of Robert Edgar and Willadean Elizabeth (McKinney) Mask.  The family moved to the Denver area when she was young where she attended school and graduated.  In 1985, she moved to Michigan with her husband and children.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time crocheting, loved to draw, and was an amazing artist.  Creating gifts for her family and friends brought her great joy.  She had a tremendous love for animals which lit her heart and smile whenever they were near.   She attended St. Francis Catholic Church as well as the Presbyterian Church of Traverse City.

She is survived by her children: Christopher M. Mask, Brent P. Hudson, Bobbi L. Hudson, and James "Jay" Hudson; grandmother of AJ, Colby, Aiden, Austin, Logan, and Cassandra.  Also surviving are brothers, Ken and Sam Mask, and sisters, Joyce Cavness and Sallie Brecheisen.  She is preceded in death by her brother Bob Mask, and son, Jimmy M. Brecheisen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Prayer Garden at the Presbyterian Church of Traverse City.  Per Dorothy's request, please wear casual attire and no black.
