Dorothy E. Hatch (Kokx), 94, of Whitehall, Michigan, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Dorothy was born on September 13, 1924 to Leroy and Mary Kokx (Bond).

In 1947 Dorothy married Clyde Hatch. Together they were blessed with 4 children and over 60 years of marriage until his death in 2009. Dorothy was a caretaker at Michillinda Beach Association for 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and was a very devout Catholic. She was also a member of the White Lake Eagles AUX. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and baking her famous cinnamon rolls and cookies. She was a quiet, kind, strong-willed woman who will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is survived by: her children, David (Jill) Hatch, Nancy (Walter) Gray, Mary Stabler and Eileen (Stephen) Jenkins; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Beverly Bailey.

She was preceded in death by: her husband Clyde; brothers, Pat and Pete; and son-in-law Jerry Stabler

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 150 Church St., Twin Lake, with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere officiating. The family will receive guests 1 hour prior to the start of the Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mary of the Woods Circle at St. Mary of the Woods.
