Dorothy Louise Lorenz, 80, of Montague, passed away Monday January 8, 2018. Dorothy was born on December 4, 1937 to Nicholas and Louise DeFelice.

Dorothy worked as an LPN her entire career. She was blessed with 3 children in her life that she loved dearly. Dorothy enjoyed cooking for family and friends, antiquing, knitting, playing cards, socializing with the staff and patrons of Modern Image Cuts, and the occasional trip to the casinos, especially her lotto tickets! She was a strong-willed, independent, determined, hard-working woman who will be deeply missed.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Eric, Susan and Terence Gionet; grandchildren, Christa, Nicholas, Sean (Erica) and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Luke and Ellie; brothers, Nicholas (Shirley) DeFelice; special nieces; Kimmie (Lew) Snellenberger and Laurie (Donny) Davis; special nephew, Rick (Joedy) Peterson; several other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Clyde Lorenz; and special friends, Nancy (Earl) Nawrocki and Diane (George) Lohman

She was preceded in death by, her husband, Harold; 2 sisters; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Lorenz.

In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place and no services will be held

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Johnson Cancer Center.

Beacon Cremation and Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel, in Whitehall, is in charge of arrangements.
