Mr. Douglas L. Miller, age 42, died Monday February 4, 2008. He was born on July 16, 1965 in Detroit to Kenneth and Joan (LeFebvre) Miller. Douglas married the former Donna M. Kiefer on November 7, 1998 in Pentwater. Until his illness, he was employed as a lead man at Pentwater Wire Products. He was a veteran serving his country in the U.S. Air Force. Douglas was affiliated with the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ludington and the Centenary United Methodist Church in Pentwater. He is survived by his wife Donna of Pentwater; children, Reese, Jill and Glenn Miller, all at home; parents, Kenneth (Joan) Miller of Pentwater; 3 sisters, Kathy (Bill) Mustard of Custer, Jackie (Sid) Swift of Taylor, MI and Marge Cheldyn of Scottville; 2 brothers, Rick (Diane) Miller of Milwaukee, WI and Tom (Christine) Miller of Woodhaven, MI; father and mother in law, Charles (Nancy) Kiefer of Scottville; grandmother, Elizabeth Kiefer of Pentwater; 3 sisters in law, Carolyn (Jason) Shimel of Ludington, Charlotte Kiefer of Ludington and Bethany Sherfinski of Ludington; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Paul United Methodist Church-Ludington with Rev. Bob Henning and Rev. Harris Hoekwater officiating. Interment in the Pentwater Township Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Pentwater VFW Post 6017. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30-8:30 P.M. at St. Paul United Methodist Church-Ludington. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
