Douglas Zane Morgan, 62, of Hart, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born November 11, 1959, in Hart, the son of Zane G. Morgan and Norma G. (Frees) West.

Doug was a self-employed handyman who held various jobs, including tree trimming and farming. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, and exploring. Doug also enjoyed running a chainsaw, cutting firewood, and having bonfires with his family and friends. He was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Doug is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Lee Morgan, Debbie (Tony) Yost, Donna Marie (Bryan) Griffin, and R Lee (Cindy) West; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Daniel Duane Morgan, and Robert Lee West; and nephews, Dennis Lee Morgan Jr. and Steven Lee West.

In accordance with Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
