Doyle Dwight Erickson Sr., 69, of Whitehall, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019. He was born October 5, 1950, the son of Dwight and Mary Erickson.

Doyle worked as a Journeyman Boilermaker for most of his working career. He loved working on cars and going to car shows. He was a safety inspector for the NSRA, and volunteered with the White Lake Youth Sports Club. He was a strong-willed, loving, honorable man who will be deeply missed.

Doyle is survived by: his children, Doyle (Christine) Erickson and Brian Erickson; grandchildren, Sydney, Ellie, Parker, Brody, and Alyse; sisters, Pamela (Ken) Holm, Ardith (Joe) Carpenter, and Jan Minyard; his dog, Charlie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and brother, Paul.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, with Pastor Douglas Ogden officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Oakhurst Cemetery in Whitehall.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
