Edith D. Agosto de Kyser, 91, of Maple City, Michigan, went to be the Lord on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, with family by her side. She was born September 30, 1933, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico.

Edith was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and worked and retired from the State of Michigan in Traverse City.

She began her relationship with the Lord at an early age and later was called to the ministry. She was ordained as Minister in 1992. Her love for the Lord and His Word was great and she was obedient in the doors He opened. She was able to minister through Bible Studies, sharing the Gospel at migrant camps, prisons, nursing homes, and traveled on mission trips around the World.

Edith is survived by: her son, Cesar Rivera Agosto; daughter, Ruth Rivera (Wendell); her step-granddaughter, Anna (Aric Anagnost) Buell; her step-grandson, Josh (Sami) Buell; her step-great granddaughter Nora Buell; Sister Eva Agosto; her brother Saturnino Agosto Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edith was preceded in death by: Her husband, Gaylord Kyser; her daughter, Mayra Rivera Agosto, her father Saturnino Agosto; her mother, Mariana Falcón Hernández; brother Nelson Agosto; brother Julio Agosto; brother Daniel Agosto; sister Irma Agosto; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private interment will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery in Maple City.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Mt. Zion Family Worship Center, 4950 Silver Pines Road, Traverse City, Michigan  49685, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM.  A luncheon will follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Family Worship Center or to The Voice of The Martyrs.
